    Jeremy Stephens Bio

    Jeremy Stephens serves as executive vice president and chief human resources officer of Tidelands Health (4 Hospitals with 2500 employees in the Myrtle Beach area). In this role, Mr. Stephens is responsible for establishing and implementing the strategic vision for the human resources division and provides leadership for the human resources, staff development, wellness and employee health functions. Mr. Stephens has more than 30 years of human resources experience. Prior to joining Tidelands Health in 2017, he served as senior director of human resources for clinical operations at the University of Michigan Health System, as vice president and chief human resources officer for St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, Michigan, and as chief human resources officer for the state of Michigan. Mr. Stephens is also the founder of Michigan HR Day.

    Mr. Stephens earned his bachelor and master's degrees from Central Michigan University.
